"Really liked the relaxed atmosphere right on the beach. Staff were Fijian friendly with wide smiles - Bula every time ! Need a better bar tab system when in a group and a better swimming pool but other than that an affordable and central location. Will be back."

"I had such an amazing stay at this hotel. The service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. Every staff member was so friendly, welcoming, and professional, quick and efficient the housekeeping team. Even when I made last-minute room cleaning requests, they responded so fast and always did an excellent job. "Beware where it says a 3 minute walk to the Terminal from the Motel. You can see the hotel from the Terminal but it’s on top of a steep hill. If you’re carrying cases it’s almost impossible unless you’re a young athlete. So be prepared for a $25 taxi bill to go less than a half mile and another $25 to get back to the terminal the next morning."

"Pros- The bures were really spacious and the beds comfy, gardens lush and well maintained. Breakfast had enough choice. Staff were very nice and helpful. Cons- The resort is definitely in need of maintenance everything is starting to look like it’s falling apart particularly around the pool restaurant area. We didn’t have a hot shower the whole time we were there. The food was just ok and not many options around."

"Overall, a very pleasant experience staying at Novotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, even offering late check out, uninitiated by me, at no extra cost. I would definitely pay the extra for the second floor rooms (deluxe room and above). The increase in price is relatively minor, and the privacy and views from your balcony is well worth it. "Only good for overnight stays as opposite the airport. But more expensive than other hotels past the airport. Good pool but lacking seating. Gets taken quite fast. Restaurant service was painfully slow. Got my food after an hour wait. Not very energy efficient as all rooms have aircon going with the louvers windows open next to the front door. What a waste of energy. Room was ok with good amenities. Would I stay again yes but only overnight. My other hotel on the main road was far better and...

"This is pure heaven. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. When we arrived I had a room that didn't tick the boxes for me, Within an hour they had us moved without any issues. They went out of their way to spoil me on my birthday with multiple surprises. Rooms are tidy and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful every morning and always well stocked, coffee was brilliant."

"This hotel is very close to the port and the staff were very helpful Which is important when a large amount of passengers are checking out to get to the ship while others are checking in and having to use a very tight space for all the luggage at the front desk. But the Hotel Kon Tiki has some of the lowest rates to get a great bed in a clean facility in Papeete. But also don't expect a King's suite for a low price. "We had a constant stream of problems during our stay with the Double Tree. The room was not as nice as we expected the curtains had holes from moths and some of the lights were burned out in the main room so it felt like a dark cave. We found a dead cockroach in the main room on the first night that was not cleaned up for 2 days. A second roach showed up in the bathroom the very next day too. The shower was fantastic and lived up to the pictures. Shower towels were the most frequent issue....

"My husband and I could not fault The Islander. From the moment we checked in we felt like part of a large family. From the friendly smile and impeccable service from Serena at reception, to the amazing party vibe from Memory in the Hula Bar. To our wonderful friendly wait staff, bar staff, room turn over ladies.
