"My friend and I rented this little cabin for a girls trip. It was such a wonderful experience. The cabin was beautifully decorated and was so cozy and comfortable. There were so many thoughtful touches such as bottled water in the frig, K cups for the Keurig, Bluetooth speaker in each of the bathrooms and light switches with night lights in them. Alissa & Shawn even left a sweet thank you not with chocolates for our arrival. Alissa was always quick to reply when I texted her. I would highly recommend this little cabin for your next get-a-way."

"Guess I wasn't prepared for what I was to find while visiting. Perhaps it was because we had all just survived a long, hot Texas summer. However, the tranquility and beauty were healing to the soul. I kept thinking, "how did I not know of this place before". I'm not even sure I want to share it with friends as I never want it to change. Thank you to the family/team whom make this oasis so special. It truly is a site for sore eyes. Peace in the valley does exist."

"Everything was wonderful. Cute place to stay. I wanted to cook for my son but was not aware that there was not an actual stove/oven. The directions on how to arrive at the home are a little confusing if you use a GPS. It tells you to turn right at the stop sign before the house when you should have gone straight just a little bit and there is the driveway on the right. Love the town of Glen Rose and all the decorated dinosaurs. So many places to eat. Wonderful atmosphere!!!"

"This cabin was everything that was described. The cabin was clean, the hot tub was clean and ready for use when we arrived. The cabin had lots of snacks to enjoy, coffee and cream and a lot of extra amenities that were unexpected but appreciated. It was secluded from the other cabins and very quiet and peaceful. The propane grill was clean and work very well. We appreciated that they had TV's in the living room and bedroom that had Youtubetv. The AC's all work well and kept the cabin cool. We will definitely come back to check out the other cabins on the property. The owner had good communication and was very responsive to our questions. Overall, if you would like a quiet, peaceful place to stay to unwind, this is a great location and a great secluded cabin."

"Beautiful cabin, AC worked great, and the location is very private. The composting toilet is something you have to get used to, but it worked well and there was no smell. All of the amenities worked great, but it is out in the woods, so be cautious of spiders. If I hadn't have had someone pint out the giant spider and web when we arrived, I would've walked straight into it. The spider had rebuilt it's web along the entry path by the next morning and I had to knock it down again. Due to the heat, lack of rain, and tons of insects, we were unable to use the fire pit and outdoor areas, but they were well maintained and lovely. There is very little phone signal, so bring dvds to watch or offline entertainment if needed. There is a TV and dvd player, and I was able to get Hotspot working partially to connect to streaming services, but they never worked great. Overall, despite this things to be aware of, we had a great stay, loved the design, and loved being secluded. Reach out to the owners for a drawn map of the roads because at night it was very confusing to find in the little trails that lead to it. I highly recommend arriving before the sun goes down."
