"Room was immaculate and so comfortable. Bathroom and shower was clean and hot water was HOT! I was travelling with my Mother and the staff made 2 single beds for us rather than one King size and this was so appreciated. Food at the Cheeky Dog was wonderful as was the service from any staff we encountered. We will absolutely tell anyone who will listen about Bannisters and stay again for longer! "

"Wonderful outlook, right on the shore. Close to the marina which was important to our group. Well equipped with kitchen items for meal preparation and a good laundryNext time we would like multiple keys as we were 3 couples, cleaner windows and verandas, and more off-street parking.The unusable veranda awning was disappointing so we had to go out and buy a sun umbrella just for the stay as the sun was too glarey otherwise."

"Whilst we enjoyed our stay at the unit, and the location with direct access to the beach is fabulous, some items detracted from our expectations.MOST IMPORTANTLY - Far more emphasis needs to be made regarding mobility & disability access on the website. All common areas & internal stairs (and the stairs to the bedrooms & bathroom within the unit itself) are totally unsuitable for anyone with ANY type of mobility issues. Crockery & glassware were not clean, we had to hand wash prior to using.A number of plates & glasses were crazed etc and should be replaced. Dishwasher needs a good service as detergent dispenser gets stuck, doesn’t open during the cycle and therefore nothing is cleaned properly. Kitchen bar stools were dirty, and required wiping over.Two seater leather lounge is torn from wear & tear (not by us) Place mates in cupboards were dirty, needed washing.Main bathroom one of the down lights not working.All fly screens in all rooms are filthy - all need a good clean. When left open dust & dirt just came in.Patio doors, the security bolts have corroded and need replacing.No tea towels were provided - thankfully we brought some with us.Outdoor table & chairs, were dirty and we had to clean them, Also there was one of the chairs missing. Overall, the unit is looking a bit tired & in need of some TLC & money spent. "

"We really want to give positive feedback every time we go on holiday. Unfortunately the only thing we can say about this property is disgusting, and its an understatement. Unliveable! I'll let you judge: 1. The smell when you open the door the first time is terrible. You can tell that everything in this apartment is so old and nothing was replaced in ages. We had to open all the windows (on some windows the locks are broken so we couldn't open them) to be able to be in the apartment. 2. The furnitures are filthy, stained and smell horrible. You don't want to sit on this, it is full of germs, no doubt 3. The metal chairs at the balcony are full of corrosion, good luck sitting on them 4. The so called bench stools are so low, they serve no purpose and they are half of the size they should be 5. The carpet in the living room hasn't been replaced or washed in years 6. The carpets in the bedroom smells so bad 7. No air-conditioner in the apartment, in an area where the temperature goes up to 36 and more, very unpleasant to be in the apartment when it is that hot outside 8. Lastly, the kitchen cupboards are so old and smell so bad. The smell of mold is so strong that you have to wash everything you get out of the cupboards with hot water and dishwashing liquid. In summary, this is a disrespect and insulting towards the guests, we will recommend to avoid staying in this place, unless the owners show some care towards the guests and make it liveable."

"View and location was lovely. Upon picking up key we were given a 3 little satchels with dishwashing liquid ,powder etc I phoned MCGrath property manager to ask if I could get another washing up liquid as we where saying 5 days and was told a definite NO as owner doesn’t supply any of these things ( no little extra convenience here) as theses things get stolen so if want them have to purchase the ourselves.The apartment itself was neat and tidy but one lounge you couldn’t even sit on as all you could feel is the springs. The toilet area was very small due to a basin behind the door so actually had to step into room close door before you could use the toilet.Sliding flyscreen on balcony was rusty and stiff so very hard to open & shut and try to lock.The host McGrath R.E where unhelpful,unfriendly even would say rude as the message I received on last night was please return key to McGrath at 10am considering it’s a 15 to 20 minute drive from apartment to Real estate and checkout wasn’t until 10 certainly seemed like no holiday spirit here just business.Would I recommend them or apartment to friends DEFINITELY NOT ."
