This is a magical little hideaway with an incredible ocean views. We adored the outdoor deck area, espresso machine, and comfy beds. There's no TV, but we threw on some music, enjoyed the ambiance, and discussed staying here longer on our next trip to the area!

The house is spacious, and it's right on the cliff. The view is gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even left a surprise gift basket with a few beer/wine bottles in the fridge. The telescope was great for bird watching.

Beautiful and very spacious property. This was like a little house with great deck, living room, kitchen and sleeping area. Plenty of space and personality. Played games at night and easily cooked meals in kitchen.

Very spacious and comfortable, quiet apartment overlooking the sea. Very well equipped kitchen and only problem we had was choosing which of several options to sit to enjoy the views! Only minor criticism was bathrooms a bit tatty but clean and functional. Village is easily walkable to enjoy the murals and views. On the edge of the national park as well. Mural Restaurant in Adventure Hotel, 5 minutes walk away is a superb treat for a good meal.

It was good. The view was great only you cannot sleep as you can feel and hear the wind bec of the location. Other than that it was overall good.

Beautiful home, overlooking the ocean. Black sand beach w sea sounds to soothe the soul, and seals swimming. Owners made sure bedding and staples like coffee were available. Management company was responsive to email request. It’s an historic home, interesting to read about it. Convenient to all of the sightseeing we were doing in Snaefellas Peninsula. Wish we could have stayed longer, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Thank you!

The location is great for exploring the area and we’d recommend a walk around to look at the murals and a visit to the visitor centre. However, this was an expensive stay and there were a few issues - the towels were rough and threadbare, fine if you like an exfoliation too. The cleanliness was ok - there were some smears on the bathroom wall and some tiles were loose and cracked. The shower was dated and grimy. There was also a toilet brush covered in someone else’s toilet paper and the bunk beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Unfortunately we also did not receive the check in information until nearly 9pm after messaging on the app several times and trying to call.

Cozy house with priceless views

Amazing property sitting on a cliff overlooking the ocean/beach. We were lucky to see Aurora light up the sky the night we stayed. Definitely, will return to this property if in the area again, maybe summertime vs. winter.

Very poor condition

The only good thing was the view of the ocean. The towels were threadbare, the cappuccino machine inoperable because it needed cleaning, the coffee maker had no filters, there was no internet, there were dead and live flies on the windowsill, the furniture has holes with the stuffing coming out, the soap in the bathroom hadn’t been refilled, multiple light bulbs were burned out,the driveway wasn’t cleared of snow for parking, the deck wasn’t cleared of snow so we couldn’t go out to see the ocean. We never received an email with check in info but the property manager answered the phone to give us the code. Subsequent calls were not returned.

Esse apartamento é simplesmente um sonho perfeito. De frente para o mar vimos muitas aves marinhas e até baleias. Local tranquilo e agradável. O apartmento é bem espaçoso, confortavel e acolhedor. Tem uma linda coleção de livros e uma otima coleçao de CDS, adoramos ficar olhando o mar e ouvindo musica. O charme especial fica por conta da luneta estrategicamente posicionada de frente a grande janela da varanda. Camas macias e quentinhas, banheiro espaçoso, chuveiro quente e cozinha bem equipada.
