We stayed in one the rooms in The Barn which was a short walk away from the main building and overlooked the golf course. Special mention to the super comfortable mattress and pillows- perfect! The staff were super friendly and helpful and our breakfast on both mornings of our stay were delicious."

"Gorgeous property and very clean room. Felt luxurious to be there. Can't say enough good things about the staff. We were greeted by a friendly staff member as soon as we pulled into the parking lot. Car was parked by valet and bags were taken to our room. Staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this place to others."

"Our room was very warm. Heater was on when we arrived. Turned it off & opened windows but it took a couple hours to cool room down. Table fan helped. Pictures of bathrooms in website showed that there were very spacious. But in fact our bathroom quite small. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into town. Overall the hotel was pleasant & staff very accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful & good."

"The hotel is over 400 years old and quite beautiful. Across the street from a park on the shore of Loch Lomond, very picturesque. Loch boat tours right there as well. The restaurant was excellent, there is a full bar, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We don’t have a dog, but it is a dog friendly place, and we enjoyed the furry friends’ presence. Very peaceful."
