Lovely modern accommodation. Clean room and comfy bed. Only negative is it was slightly cold in the room but the bathroom was warm. Breakfast was good. Would stay again in the summer to get full use of the lovely views and surroundings.

Room really clean
Very impressive tea and coffee tray with lots of choice. Ground coffee bags and Yorkshire tea
Excellent quality toiletries in the bathroom. Big bottles, top quality brand. It makes a difference.
It’s the little things that make a difference and this place understands that.
Breakfast was freshly cooked using top quality local ingredients. I will be staying again and highly recommend it

The property is under refurbishment but that posed no problem. The owner should revisit the breakfast menu: having no cereals is an error. Nice room, clean bathroom, quiet setting.
Beautiful character property. Views amazing Love that it’s dog friendly even in the restaurant part. Great open fire. Warm welcome Great breakfast. Dinner very tasty.
What a gem of an Inn!
From the old bar, we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Beds were comfy and the place was quiet. The curtains blotted out the light!
The bathroom was clean and very swish.
All in all, well recommended for a night, a weekend or a week!

Very clean room, needs decorating. Bed, pillows and towels excellent as was the bathroom. No TV in the room which, whilst not addicts, we were reliant on my ipad to watch any programmes. Dining experience was very poor, four poor choices on the menu (not what was advertised on the website) and vastly overpriced for what we actually got. Didn't have a dessert based on the poor experience of the starter. Breakfast was good.
Traditional Dales Pub adjacent to the River Wharfe
This is a lovely traditional Yorkshire Dales pub in the small village of Appletreewick with the River Wharfe very handy for a walk.
The New Inn has relatively new owners who have made great strides to improve all aspects of what a traditional English pub should be ranging from the interior and food to a very warm welcome and service.
We were upgraded to Room 4, which is a good-sized room with a panoramic view of the valley from the window seat.
Breakfast was very enjoyable prepared by the chef and the locally produced black pudding and sausages were fantastic.
We won’t hesitate to return.
Alexa and Chris took over New Inn in October 2024 and are doing a great job of making the place somewhere to be proud of. The pub is full of character, serves a wide range of excellent beers, and in Mike has a chef keen to present a few dishes not normally seen on a traditional pub grub menu. My wife and I enjoyed wild mushroom parfait, mushroom risotto with pearl barley, whisky glazed ox heart and sticky toffee parkin, and the quality was top notch! Speaking with Alexa, Chris and Mike, it is clear how much they care about making New Inn a success, and we wish them all the best. Richard & Debbie Fowler
A lovely very comfortable room for two tired walkers. Great views. Evening mean was anzing. The food was a tad expensive but well worth it. Unfortunately breakfast was a dissapointment. We areived just before 8am. No one was around. The server arrived about 10 past was was still putting out glasses. By about 25 past we did get drinks. No breakfast order was taken until 8.30. And we were told it would take a while to cook. We were walkjng on the dales way a 16 mile stretch. Couldnt wait any longer so left without breakfast. If u r stopping here on a walk ask for a packed breakfast to go.
This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. Ooh, and the chef smokes and cures their own produce. The full English Breakfast fills you up for the day and I recommend this. My son had porridge and he almost licked his bowl clean on both days. We were there for a family wedding at Tithe Barn and stayed 2 nights. Everywhere you looked in this wonderful part of Yorkshire was a pleasure. Gods Own Country
