"This was the perfect place for my crystal mining adventure! Location is just down the road from some of the mines and there is a big lake a few minutes away too. Very peaceful setting with so much thought put into all the details by owners. Chairs around a fire pit, hammocks, grill, board games, Netflix and even a washing station outside to clean up crystals.My favorite part was the path in back of the cabin, that lead down through the trees to a creek. Wading around in the water was a great way to cool off and do a little rockhounding.Owners were great and made sure to be available if anything was needed."

"I went for peace and quiet. The AC was nice to have, my only complaint is that the AC unit is very loud but also very nice to have. I'm just so happy that I didn't have to listen to barking dogs while I enjoyed the evening sky. I seen so many stars"

"2nd time visiting and enjoyed our stay! The stars were AMAZING and the host suggestions on where to eat was very appreciated! Just make sure you have all your details ahead of time as there isn't any signal there. (once inside there is wifi tho)"

"Property was very clean, peaceful environment, remote area, and close access to the lake and a boat dock. We loved the big front porch even though we didn’t utilize it much for our brief stay. The linens were soft and clean and the shower was nice and hot which is very important to us. The internet and phone reception worked great and the quality of the televisions and radio in the kitchen was great. It is important to note that the nearest grocery store or restaurant is probably 30 minutes or more away from the cabin, which is fine as long as you are prepared for that. (There is a full kitchen and a nice grill for cooking) Also there is no air condition in the bedroom or bathroom; so to keep a comfortable temperature, those doors need to remain open. (There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and as long as the door was open, it stayed nice and cool)."

"Everything was wonderful, great location, (if you go back under the bridge to the left in the water it opens up into a very beautiful swimming hole with ropes swings) very relaxing view from hot tub, they have chairs and floats by the water for guest to use. Very private suite, i was a bit worried at first because the house is connected to the suite but Mr Marc was very kind, resourceful and extremely respectful, only saw him one time at check in! My only complaint would be bc we brought kids they wanted a tv in there room lol there is only one in the living room. We will be back."

"We had a wonderful stay here, our 1st time visiting Ouachita Lake, and Buckville was a great place to spend the day at the lake and was a short driver down the road. Was very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was a little dated but well kept. It is completely fenced in and is pet friendly. We do not have dogs but is a nice feature if you have pets. it is a about 30 minutes from town so bring groceries. There was a dog odor in the 2nd bedroom, and a dip in the kitchen floor. It is an older cabin but the price fits the bill. Sitting on the front porch drinking coffee was so relaxing and enjoyable. having the washer/dryer was nice too!"
