"Amenities were as described and host was most gracious. The in residence dog, Blue, was a friendly addition to our stay of 3 nights. Relaxing soak in hot tub and hummingbirds were a daily treat. Would highly recommend this location as the retreat it promises and we will stay again when back in Silver City area."

"The house was very welcoming, clean and warm. Very comfortable for the whole family. Definitely had everything you would ever need. The houses not in a town, but it didn’t matter. There was everything you needed right at your fingertips. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies needed to make anything you wanted. There was plenty to do from ping-pong to games to fire pit. It was awesome."

"Breakfast mostly carbs but had hard boiled eggs and juice. The AC unit was kept room cool We were surprised that no one told us there would be no room service (fresh towels, etc) on our 2nd day. We had to track someone down to get a couple more towels. "

"The property welcomes pets. The staff is very friendly. The lodge is about 10 minutes from Silver City. The Buckhorn Restaurant is nearby and quite good. The lodge rooms are dark and need attention but it sits in the woods and that makes it peaceful. "
