Fun in the sun

Stayed with my and my brothers families. Great location in Sierra Vista and the pool was a hit with the kids. Would definitely stay again.

The property is in a great location, minutes to the mall and dining options. The house was very well stocked with everything that we needed, and there was plenty of space. Communication with the host was fast and easy, and check in and out was a breeze. Definitely recommend.

Great family house

We stayed over a weekend to visit our son at the fort, it was a great location and very well supplied. I had a question for the host and he responded quickly. Beds were nice and the living room furniture was comfy. It had plenty of towels and just about everything you would need in the kitchen.

Perfect location

House was as described and pictured. We went for a graduation at the Army base. The location was absolutely perfect. House was centrally located, large enough for my family and worked great. The pool and jacuzzi were awesome during our trip.

Great Holiday Weekend!

We enjoyed the weekend spent at the house. The neighborhood was beautiful. Quiet and clean. We loved the house. All the amenities were as described and we had a great time. Took a short trip to Bisbee and found it to be the perfect location for this day trip.

Great location

This house is in a great location, particularly if you are planning to golf at nearby Pueblo del sol country club, an excellent and very affordable public golf course. The house is well laid out and relatively spacious. Nice pool and heated spa. The owner, Arji, is very responsive. Will probably stay here again next year.

Over good stay

BBQ was not cleaned. House it self could use some repairs i.e. master bath sink needs replaced as do the kitcken countertops. Pool was nice once it got going. Overall the onwer was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location, spotless interior

Although the check-in required phoning the host due to a keypad mechanical issue, he promptly took care of the issue and remained immediately in touch for the duration of our stay. The home is not as pictured on the posting; however, it is just as attractive and well maintained. It is in a modern, xeroscaped neighborhood which is convenient to shopping and restaurants and generally quiet, with only occasional sirens from the forestation located 1/4 mile away. The interior is clean and well-equipped, and the master bed is medium firm and provided us with a good nights sleep beneath the ceiling fan. The kitchen is reasonable furnished and the pool is clean. Overall, this was one of the better homes we have rented, with a responsive host and lovely neighborhood.

The property was nice and located centrally. The only problem we had was the pool heater that didn’t get resolved in time for us to be able to use it like we planned. The owner did refund our pool heater cost.

Great getaway!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family! We brought my grandparents to reminisce in Tombstone where they were raised and this house was a perfect meeting point for all generations to enjoy. The pool was perfect for the kids (even has a pool alarm in the event that you have little ones that can escape outside!) And the common areas: kitchen, dining room & living room, were perfect for the adults to spend time together. The only downside to the whole property is that it was hard to get in and out of some doorways & the shower for my grandfather since he is in a wheelchair. However, I didnt verify that the house was wheelchair accessible before booking so the 100% falls on me! Overall, 10/10 would recommend! The house is quiet and on a quiet street, but close to everything and anything you could need! Home was very clean & well taken care of!

The home was ok. The experience was not.

My family has rented homes through VRBO and Homestay many times and I have never left a poor review. Typically, each property is as described and you get what you expect. This was not the case with this property. If I were reviewing just the property, it would be a solid three. The positives: the pool and spa were clean, the beds were reasonably comfortable, and the yard is quite private. The negatives: There were no extra linens provided, all of the appliances, dishes, and silverware looked like they came from a garage sale, the coffee maker never did work and wasn't replaced while we were there, the place had an unfinished feel, as though it was a hasty and poorly done reno, the backyard was full of weeds in the blocks round the pool, the pool/spa heater is incredibly noisy and located directly beside the pool, I had to go four plates deep in the cupboard to find a clean one, and the property backs on to a noisy street. To call this a luxury home is a long stretch at best. It was an ok home. The price (or so I thought) was pretty low, so, for the money, it would be about a three star. The poor experience involved dealing with the owner. After we left the property, I received a rather rude email telling me I had left the pool heater and AC on and that I would be charged a fee (never before mentioned). Before arriving at the property, I even inquired as to whether I could pay an extra fee to have the pool heated and was told that I could not. The long and short is that the pool was never heated, the reason for the extra fee changed three times, and when I protested I was told, at the end of another long and rude email: "Good luck with your dispute. Furthermore, good luck finding accommodations next time you come to Sierra Vista..." And, with that the owner kept forty percent of my damage deposit. The accommodation was mostly acceptable, but the phantom fees were not. I would recommend staying elsewhere. I see the listing has now been updated to disclose some of these fees. So at least they won't be invented on the spot if you choose this property. Good luck!
