"Decided to book a snowmobile trip for the husband and I for an extended weekend. Loved that we could hop on the trails just from the end of the driveway, super easy! Cabin was exactly as described, which was great. Loved the wood burning stove to heat the place, didnt think we had brought enough wood but we stayed toasty all weekend. Went down the street to the local watering hole for a bit after a long day and the people were amazing, super friendly. Would definitely book this place again for summer and winter sports. "

"Staff was great. Clean room. Apparently it was a hockey weekend and kids were running up and down the stairs, hallways up above the rooms in a very difficult to relax. That was my agenda with my daughter was to relax. My daughter is autistic and I was way too stimulating for her. No, I didn’t stipulate that she was autistic. "We had a wonderful weekend at Ripley Retreat! The cabin is adorable - updated, clean, comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The view of the lake is beautiful especially at sunset with the fall foliage. Our dogs had the best time playing in the crystal clear water and on the sandy beach.
