"Room needs a little bit more TLC carpet was badly stained and covered with rugs, mattress needs replacing & duvet too. Owners were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of car parking places."

"Lovely stay in The White Swan, Alnwick. Ideal location in centre for shops and good distance to Castle and gardens.Staff were cheerful and friendly. We were in the courtyard but next time would stay in main building. Nice breakfast and easy check in and out."

"Lovely stay at a lovely location. Staff were lovely a d the lookout room was great. Breakfast was also delicious. My only critique would be the dinner menu didn't have many vegetarian options (one starter, one main and one salad) so we ended up having to get a takeaway instead of dining I. The restaurant."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our room (127) was spacious and well equipped, in a quieter position looking over the car park away from but conveniently located for the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent too. Would definitely recommend and stay here again 👍"

"Very clean and spacious bedrooms however they use an air vacuum toilet system which it was acknowledged to me was useless. I used the pub toilet at times because of continual blockages. That’s dreadful. It is a pub and was very good with pleasant staff. The breakfast was limited to usual hot food, except only fried eggs, limited continental breakfast. We had one evening meal and not brilliant however the fish restaurants in Amble compensate. Parking is good and plentiful on-site. The pub is difficult to find using a car satnav but ok if you use Google. Apparently the pub has been there 3 years and many satnavs don’t recognise the estate it’s on."

"Had a fabulous stay the bed was super comfortable and the bedding was really nice. I'd booked a double ensuite room and the member of staff gave me the option of a room with a shower over a bath or a stand alone shower cubicle which was nice. Overall had a great stay"
