"My family of three’s one night stay at the Petra Pillars Luxury was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly, over-the-top accommodating, and kept their resort spotless. Our room had an excellent view of the Petra landscape and pool. The breakfast had plenty of options, including made to order pancakes. It was a short 6-minute drive to the entrance to Petra."

"Staff more interested in their phones than service. Initially gave me a room that was occupied and although I asked twice for my bags, they were not delivered and when they finally were, they were left outside my room. Tiles in the bathroom are very very slippery so always put down a towel on the floor so you don’t break your neck!"

"The biggest reasons for my poor review were that they did not ever clean the room while we were there, despite being asked and that much of what was promised online (rooftop, lobby lounge, satellite tv) were not actually provided. Other than breakfast, it is a bare-basics place. Clean room to start with, not much more."

The scam is they let you book this hotel which has a view of Petra from the high mountain, however this hotel is CLOSED, after you book they will send you a separate email prior to checking in that you have been relocated to a hotel downtown next to Petra with no view!!!!, staff advised on check in that we will get compensated however we didn’t see any compensation."
