Top Sewstern Hotel Reviews

Urban Hotel Grantham
10/10 Excellent
"The bar was a bit limited and there was no food available but the staff were very helpful from the offset, saw we had a buggy for the baby and moved us to a ground floor room without us even having to ask."

The Old Pheasant Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the food was incredibly tasty, the staff were always on hand to assist and were incredibly polite too and it is in a wonderful location. The biggest issue I had was the value for money of the property. It was a lot for what you got - a basic room with a small tv, a shower that wasn't really up to scratch (with a poor shower head and water temperature that changed constantly throughout the duration of the shower), poor main lighting in the room (none around the door/ wardrobe area, however the lamps by the bed were great though) and a breakfast included in the price that whilst being very tasty, was also basic, with the cooked side only including bacon, eggs, beans and tomato, with no sausages and no vegetarian option (even though on one night I was substituted in vegetarian sausages in place of the vegetarian burger I ordered, as there were no burgers available...). All in all a very pleasant stay, but just lacking for the price that you pay for it."

Crown Hotel Stamford
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic overnight stay. We had a lovely room, very clean and perfect for our weekend trip to Stamford. Excellent breakfast too. Would certainly come again."

Candlesticks
8/10 Good
"The hotel is very quirky , liked the continental breakast provided in the bedroom . Proprietor was very helpful and friendly . Good parking available ."

The Nottinghamshire Hotel and Golf Club
10/10 Excellent
"Not often these days that I'm pleasantly surprised by a hotel but I certainly was this time! The spec of room and quality of food made the price of the room with breakfast very good! Staff were lovely and a great selection of beers on tap, not that I tried any on this occasion, typical as usually when I do fancy a beer it's the same old rubbish. Outstanding, can't wait for an excuse to stay here again."

The Barnsdale, Rutland
10/10 Excellent
"Very welcoming, great room, lovely outdoor space and good service. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We ate dinner, breakfast and afternoon tea at he hotel and all were excellent. Thank you!"

Greetham Valley Hotel
8/10 Good
"Nice large room and facilities were very good with a lovely view over the golf course. Our room (102) had an issue with its power. Which led to some maintenance."

Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely place, we had a lake view room and it was beautiful, room 513. From our balcony we could see a colony of young housemartins, who were nesting under the eves, flying around and back to their nests, just lovely. My husband has problems walking, we called reception to ask if the buggy could pick him up and it was there within minutes. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. The menu in the restaurant was a bit limited, but we found something we liked. Breakfast had plenty of choice, however for me, the eggs were overdone and the bacon was streaky. Overall, a lovely weekend and a beautiful place to stay."

Quorn Lodge Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Property a little dated but clean and functional. Lovely staff very happy to help. We were upgraded to an executive suite which had a 4 poster bed. Very nice and unexpected."
