I was traveling with my wife, daughter SIL, & 2 grands. On arrival daughter found a dead bat in one of the bedrooms. I called the host & they sent someone pretty quickly to take care of that problem. The railings on both the upper & lower deck were rotten & broken & nailed together with a couple of 2x4s. Completely unsafe & unacceptable, especially with a 2 & 4 year old running around. Then I found a wasp nest in the hollowed out post on the lower deck railing. I called & send a picture. They said they sent someone out while we were gone the 2nd day of our trip. When we got back, we found that the wasps were still alive & doing quite well. I called again to tell them that the wasps were still there. 1st I was told it could take several hours for the wasps to die. What? I told the operator that she needed to send the exterminator back. I was basically told no. I told her I would need management to call me back & was told that they wouldn't talk to me until AFTER our trip was complete. I finally convinced her (threat of legal action if kids got stung) to send the exterminator back. He got there a couple of hours later, I showed him the pics of where the wasps were. He said no one sent him the pics, so he just sprayed near the door. He ended up being there for over 1/2 an hour, as every time he shook the loose railing, more wasps poured out. In the end he figured that there were at least 100 of them. Management called as we were driving in Nashville traffic. The call got cut off
