Fantastic vacation. View from the back porch was wonderful. House was spacious and easy to navigate. We had a total of seven people and didn't feel that we were stepping on each other. Very close to all attractions.
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful. The location was very convenient to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. The roads to the cabin are steep, but manageable. The check in process and communication with the owner was extremely easy.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Very accessible, close to town. We were far enough out to have a beautiful view, but close to Pigeon Forge. The home met the needs of our family of 12. We would stay at this property again.
This was our second year staying here. We hope to make it our forever cabin. We have been coming to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg for 27 years on Veteran’s Day weekend. We love the location and the cabin.
We were in town for my son’s Cal Ripken Baseball Experience tournament. This location was excellent! 10 minutes from tours with the best Mountain View’s we’ve ever had. But most importantly, away from the INSANE traffic of Gatlinburg!
We had a really nice time , only thing I have about the property. Is the pool table and sticks need some love and a couple of the windows leak cold air The hot tub was awesome. The rooms were beautiful. All kinds of dishes , pots and pants for you We definitely go back to the same property again
Excellent cabin for a family get together for Dollywood. View is amazing. Extremely close to Dollywood. Last part of drive is steep but manageable in a minivan. RedDoorGetaways provided very helpful emails and texts for check in and info about the cabin and the area.
Amazing cabin with spectacular views of the mountains! Deck overlooks Dollywood so you get a bonus fireworks and drone show everynight!
Very comfortable, room for 14 of us.
Enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and made smores in the fire pit!
Very close to many activities. We enjoyed whitewater rafting, ziplining, Dollywood, ect
Overall wonderful expirience!!
Cabin was great. There was a bear there to greet us upon arrival and came back several times!! Road to the cabin was steep and rough but we made it ok. View was fantastic, couldn’t ask for better. We even got to watch Dollywood’s fireworks every night. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfy! Recommend this cabin!
This trip with our family couldn't have been better! The cabin was clean, had wonderful views, and we even got to see fireworks and a light show every night for FREE because Dollywood is visible from the porch! Loved that everyone slept comfortably and the cabin had three floors. There is plenty to do in the area and we enjoyed all of the accommodations. We are already talking about when we can come back. A+ experience. Wonderful Host.
Pros - not a long drive up the mountain, excellent view, plenty of parking.
Cons - bed on main floor was uncomfortable, bathrooms were TOO small
I know you can't have everything and some things weren't what you want but a week of watching the sun rise over the mountains while drinking coffee can make up for a lot:)
Overall, we had a great stay! We came on an extended family trip. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pool table was a hit. It was a little tight playing pool room wise. The view was beautiful to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee. The road to the cabin does have several sharp steep spots so definitely be aware of weather. The cabin is situated in a private area. Really our only complaint would be the temperature difference between the floors. The top floor would be too hot while those on the lowest floor freezing. If your trip is during the coldest months, I would come prepared if staying on the bottom floor. Bottom floor holds a king room and the 2 queen room. Middle floor a king and top floor a king.
The location make going into town fast and easy. We also loved the views, fire pit and nightly fireworks. Everything about it was great, we'll be back.
We had plenty of room for the entire family, and the deck on the back of the house had a wonderful view. The cabin is close enough to Dollywood that we could hear the train. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of dishes and towels. The appliances worked well too. The host provided a small bottle of dish soap and one packet of dishwashing and laundry soap, so bring you might want to bring extra. We loved our stay at the cabin and would highly recommend it to all.
