The B&B is a restored "chateau" with 5 rooms. The rooms are absolutely enormous and incredibly comfortable. The place was very clean, and the room was well-equipped. The hot water pressure was good, the area remarkably peaceful and we slept like babies.
Breakfast was included and we ate incredibly well. There were the standard continental offerings of fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal, bread, croissants, but also cheese, ham and eggs for the savoury-inclined.
The stay and the food aside, what really impressed us was the experience. Our host waited for our very late check-in, and we were welcomed with beer and herbal tea. He stayed about 20 minutes to show us around the place and our room, and to explain the history of the property. The next day we were welcomed to linger past our check-out time as we were simply exhausted.
The property boasts a garden with barbecue facilities, a swimming pool, a playground and trampoline for the kids, bicycles, magazines, a piano, a pool table, dart board, a candy floss machine, coffee, tea and beer on tap at self-service FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE, and about 20 different arcade gaming stations with almost every game imaginable and all FREE OF CHARGE.
Hands down the best accommodation experience in our lives. Can't wait to return.
