"The room, staff and food was lovely. But, the Safety, risk and emergency procedures make this a dangerous place to stay. I fell off the jetty due to poor lighting, breaking a number of bones. My husband jumped in and saved me, other guests helped us, while staff were lovely they had no idea, could not swim and no first aid box or stretcher/board. Fabulous breakfast buffet but truly appreciate reception staff who made multiple calls, texts and follow ups for a trip screw up. Truly caring and went above and beyond a boat tour that was mishandled by tour agency. It had nothing to do with them but we asked their help and they fixed it. Eternally grateful "

"We've been very impressed with this place so far. The main downside is that it's a good ways outside of downtown Labuan Bajo, but honestly, that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's still a short drive or Grab ride into town and they offered pick up and drop off to the property included. The villa itself is beautiful. "Basic room, nice staffs and good location. But. They allow smokers to smoke on the top floor patio which causes the entire building to smell like cigs. Even during the Breakfast hours, they allow smoking resulting in second hand smoking for breakfast. There's no wifi. Towels are dingy. Door has a gap which allows unruly tourists noise and cigarette smells to come in. We requested early breakfast box the day before in the morning but we did not get any as the cook did not show up. "had a wonderful stay at puri sari. the villa was beautiful and clean, the grounds were lovely, and the staff was friendly. amenities basic but perfectly adequate. breakfast was included, the nasi goreng was delicious. it's a little bit tucked away but perfect for a retreat, there's a little private stretch of beachfront to relax in too. would recommend! "It would have been great had the room been ready upon our arrival. (We were early but expected by the hotel.) Unfortunately I picked up some 'bug' and was running hot. That was compounded by having to wait in the heat for our room. By the time the room was ready, my fever combined with the heat and high humidity resulted in a minor medical emergency for me. "Breakfast booked for room delivery and it was left at the front desk. Next day breakfast arrived 20 mins after booking time. $60AUD wanted to take pool towel from hotel for day trip which was not refunded on safe return of towel. Door alarm would randomly go off during the night. Out of the control of the hotel was the noise of the mosque alarm and prayers from 0430 to 0530. Good location for restaurants and walking to harbour."
