"First impressions: a very good 4-star hotel! We had a great stay at Hompton by the Beach, Penang, and the theme song was such a lovely touch—it actually stayed in our heads even after we checked out! 😄🎶 There’s definitely some room for improvement, such as providing portable luggage storage and adding a little more décor and ambience to give the hotel a stronger holiday feel. The staff could also improve on customer service and friendliness to better match 4-star hotel standards. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again in the future! ❤️"

"All is very good except 1st morning on 11 Aug where buffet breakfast was chaotic with massive of guests. Tables unavailable and food not topped up fast enough. Love the local nutmeg juice served at the lobby daily, which we never will try if not for the hotel effort. Thank you. "

"Very family friendly for young families, can be very busy around the pool, staff friendly sometime the service is a little slow, Breakfast the food could be a bit warmer but good variety. The hotel is very clean and well maintained our room was excellent"
