I always try to leave good reviews when places deserve it—but sadly, this isn’t one of them. My stay at Ramada by Wyndham SeaTac Airport was a disaster from the start.
I waited over an hour for the shuttle, even after calling three times. At check-in (July 24 around 5:30 PM), the front desk staff was shockingly rude—no greeting, just “Card and ID.” I asked for a room on a higher floor and got a flat “No.” It set the tone for the stay.
My room had no TV remote or “Do Not Disturb” sign, but a different lady at the desk later that night was more helpful and pleasant, which I appreciated.
The next evening, I turned on the bathroom light and saw a cockroach. I showed the video to the front desk, and the reply was, “Ew, why would I want to see that?” They handed me bug spray and said there were no other rooms. I actually laughed in the elevator on the way back—what else can you do?
At checkout, I didn’t bother with the shuttle again. When I dropped off my key, all I got was, “Do you need a receipt or something?” No thanks, no goodbye.
The bed and towels were comfortable, but with reviews mentioning bed bugs and after seeing a roach myself, I’m not taking chances. As I write this, my luggage is sitting on my patio for a few days, just to be safe.
Even if this is Wyndham’s budget option, being under their name gave me false hope. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.
