Messages and calls sent 2 weeks prior to arrange for an early check in, did not receive a response until the morning of check in. Early check in was unavailable, no big deal right? Received a message 30 minutes before check in stating that the cleaning team did not clean the unit, the host gave me a few options on how to proceed following this. I opted to be refunded 1/2 the cost of my first night and stay in the unit due to a concert I was attending that night. The host apologized and assured that the cleaners will be there first thing in the morning. Woke up to messages saying that the earliest they could show up is 3pm…another let down.So I return later that night after a long hike expecting a clean place only to find the unit was somehow even dirtier?? Clumps of hair and food stuck in the rugs, general dirt all over the floors, the toilet was still dirty from the last guests and wine spills left sticky on the island surface. I notified the host immediately and never received a response back, even after checking out! I ended up vacuuming and wiping down surfaces so I could feel comfortable in the end.After, returning from the hike, I was planning on doing laundry since I would be checking out the following morning. And yet again…another let down! Mold in the washer!! I ended up having to cancel my morning plans to go to a laundromat.The unit itself is amazing, the location is great but please consider other options before booking. This was a horrible experience!!
