Truly beautiful!

This was one of our favorite B&Bs. We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious. It’s truly a beautiful location and house. It’s ran by two wonderful people and we enjoyed meeting them! We will be back. Thank you for the magical stay.

Lori and Ginny are wonderfully helpful and friendly. Their inn is truly one of a kind. It's history is fascinating. I slept in the bedroom of a sea captain that sailed from Maine to Asia just like the father of in The Lupine Lady ( a picture book by Barbara Cooney)

I loved staying in a home built in 1850 by a Captain who earned his living from the sea while surrounded by an economy supported by the sea. The hosts and guests were marvelous and interesting to meet. Everything was perfect including the location ... easily going north to Bar Habor and south to other attractions.

Our family’s stay at Captain Sweetser’s Inn was wonderful. We were kindly welcomed upon arrival and given a tour of the historic mansion. Our room was immaculately clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. Our 13-year-old still raves about the breakfast. And the view of the bay from the beautifully maintained property grounds is excellent.

I cannot say enough great things about this location and the service! The space is beautiful and well maintained. The views are wonderful and the amenities are top notch. Great Stay

The hostesses were amazing. We had a great breakfast every day and they made sure that the kiddos were completely happy with their breakfast as well. There were also several board games available for them to play. Comfortable beds and great view from our room! We would highly recommend for couples and families alike.
