"The room didn’t smell clean, the a/c unit felt like it was running at its own temp and not what we set it on. The shower handle was backwards so it ran forever with us thinking we had no hot water. The worse part was there was a crack between the door and door frame and there was light shining in all night. Luckily only stayed one night before boarding for a cruise the next day. Wasn’t expecting luxury for the price but also wasn’t expecting light to be shining in my eyes all night from a crack between the door and frame. You get what you pay for. Will not stay here again and not recommended."

"For $161 per night you too can have a moldy room, one semi working elevator that's pretty sketchy and doesn't have any inspection certificates posted, homeless roaming the property, breakfast was mid, no housekeeping service unless requested, which I was unaware of. It wasn't until I got back to my room in the evening that I saw our room had not been serviced. And after reading some of the reviews it's a hit or miss if your room actually gets serviced. I went down to the front desk to ask why it wasn't serviced and was told I needed to request it the day before. I was able to get some towels and I mentioned the moldy room. I wasn't given any solutions, only that "it's the area and they are aware of the issue". You'd think they would be more proactive before renting out a room if they know it's an issue. A family member that was also staying here also reported all of the same things. So I figured it was going to be the same in all rooms so I didn't request to move. And after reading these reviews I am so glad I just stuck it out because it could have been worse. A partial refund would be nice but again after reading these reviews I should just save myself the headache of dealing with it. For a "fully renovated" hotel it's pretty run down. Photos of the rooms do not portray the quality of these rooms. "

"The bath tub had rusty spots on it, there was wrappers on the floor in our room and the key to our room worked after 5 times of trying each time we left the room. Don't recommend. "

"There was a patio (balcony on upper floors) with a nice view of the Gulf The workspace was good. However, because the floor was not carpeted (not a criticism), the desk chair rolled a bit to easily when sitting down or standing up. I finally started pushing the chair against the side of the be to immobilize it when sitting down or getting up, and propelling it with my feet to get to or from the desk."

"Staff was welcoming and nice. Room was clean, in average condition. We traveled with some family, their room was also clean but the AC unit in their room didn't work. The shower and water were a big issue. We turned the water on for the tub and it came out orange for a good 5 mins. When trying to switch to the shower head you could not, this was broken. Hotel was full so no room changes. The water pressure in the sinks were terrible, barley enough to get a stream to wash your hands. Hotel was very humid, warm and elevators that had an odd smell. Parking is limited, with some covered parking under the hotel. Additional lot is not large - if traveling in a party with several cars be aware that street parking may be needed. Hotel offers cruise parking - it seemed like many cars had been left, decreasing available space for additional guests in town. Included breakfast was typical, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, pastry, waffle maker. I would avoid the eggs, they had an odd taste - assuming tap water was used to make them as they were powdered, hopefully not the same orange water coming from the faucets."

"Corner room with ocean view. Bathroom could use some work. Curtains out of tract. Waited 40 minutes for room to be ready. Desk person was very apologetic and attentive."
