Check in was comfortable and ease. Greeted with welcome drinks and hot towel. Was provided assistance with the golf cart to our rooms for our luggage. The chalet room was fantastic and spotless. Breakfast and dinner was excellent with various options. Only downside was despite the slightly steep dinner fee, drinks are not included which was a little disappointing.
All in all, great place and I recommend it.
Resort feel is nice, however very expensive. Food is good, personnel friendly however it was very chaotic at diner! A shame because it takes away the experience!
Excellent stay. The buffet dinner and breakfast was also fantastic! The only issue is that the hotel should do something about the sewer smell that you come across along one of the walking paths.
We stayed here for one night with 2 kids. The hotel is brand new, very clean and nicely designed. The food both at dinner and breakfast was very good. The service was excellent. I had a Thai massage at their spa and it was great! Overall it is probably the best value hotel in the area!
Beautiful hotel. Unlike it’s rivals (Anantara and alila), it’s less luxurious but also more reasonably priced! Perfect for families and friends. Lots of activities. Rooms are clean. However, the thing that stood out was the service and the food! Two waitresses in the main restaurant, Ms. Ehlyn and Ms. April were very welcoming, accommodating and sweet.
We did really enjoyed staying in this amazing hotel. My wife, our children and myself all have no regret of the experience. Rooms are spacious, clean and give a sense of privacy. Food was abundant, with many verities and continental dishes. Staffs were very friendly, supportive and prompt. Perhaps, the hotel may consider adding some games for toddlers.
We spent 2 nights in DusitD2 and to be honest it was a very good surprise. The property standing is higher than we could expect when looking at the website/logo. Food was also very good.
Staff members are very helpful. Special thanks to Haitman Sanjay and Rahima Irshad.
We should recommend this property.
In summary it was good stay with some issues. The rooms have thin walls and an interconnecting door and you hear every word. Which is not good when you want to sleep and the person next to you is partying. We had to change rooms due to loud and rude guests. In one of the rooms the bathroom flooded from the shower as the floor tiles where done wrongly. Additionally the feel of the place is strange and the hotel almost looks like a building site (maybe it will improve with time and better gardens)
But let’s come to the positive, the rooms were clean and spacious. The location was good for hiking. The food in the restaurant was very good and the people in the restaurant tried everything to make us feel looked after.
Very small water heater which takes 15-30 mins to heat up in between showers. And the capacity also means your shower needs to be very quick (3 mins later and it turns ice cold again). Perhaps on a warm day it is fine, but it was 4degc at the resort that night. Had tried to ask for maintenance to come but that took over half hour before they were even on their way.
We were hoping to have a comfortable vacation as that was our first visit to Jabal Akhdar and I believe it will be our last. Our stay and our experience was terrible. The response for any requirement what so ever was zero. Telephone in our room was like giving us a toy to play with, nobody is answering on us at all on all extensions. We have been locked in our room for more than 45 minutes waiting for umbrellas due to heavy rain. And due to high no. of guests we found ourselves forced to have breakfast in a conference hall totally not equipped for breakfast, corner for kids for face painting, big screen with high voice with songs for kids, big table prepared for 8 persons seated by 2 persons and big row of people can’t find a place for them to sit…in total a big mess.
After complaining to the hotel management to avoid all of this mess the same repeated when we tried to call at our departure from the hotel with more and more mess.
I informed the front office manager that they are a really “hopeless case”.

Besser also gleich ein geeignetes Fahrzeug mitbringen/buchen. Wifi im Hotel ist sehr gut.
