When I called him to let him know we would be getting in late, he told me the house is not functional. He was apologetic. But left us high and dry. We searched all the hotels in Reykjavík and all were full due to the pride parade happening. I tried calling him back to help settle this with VRBO and he ghosted me. I’m sure he’s a nice guy. But sleeping at the airport left me a bit bitter. "
