"Caution. We booked this location due to proximity to the ferries but on a busy weekend the authorities will not allow a left turn at the bottom of Maison Dieu road. You will be sent out of town and 3 roundabouts later able to come back. A 10 minute drive becomes 2.5 hours. The room was okay. Tired. The person that opened the front door did not introduce themselves and or say welcome. The first thing they said was “you should have received an email with check-in information.” It turns out I did...

High quality tea and coffee plus biscuits in the room and to top it all an excellent breakfast the next day. "Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost."
