"It was off season which may account for it being so quiet. The use of bikes, canoe, kayaks complete with life jackets all at your fingertips at no cost when ever you needed it, was great. And you are right on the lake!!!

"This is a college dorm - and as we were on a college roommate trip it was fun to revisit dorm furniture and dorm life.
It was also a great option on iron man weekend when everything in lake placid was full up.
But we would stay again. It was super quiet and away from town bustle. It is also right on a rail trail and we enjoyed long walks through the forest and wetlands.
The manager who checked us in was super friendly and helpful.
