The hotel itself was good, but I was unhappy with how the reception staff treated me during check-in. I had booked two rooms for two adults and two children, aged 13 and 17. However, when I arrived, the receptionist informed me that I would need to pay extra for breakfast because the two children were considered adults based on their ages, which affected the pricing.
I explained that I had booked the package holiday through Expedia, entering the ages of the children, and that I had already paid the full amount for the flight and accommodation, which did not reflect any price difference per person. The receptionist insisted that this was an issue with Expedia. After a lengthy discussion, he ultimately agreed not to charge the extra fee.
I found this situation unnecessary, and it started my holiday off on a negative note. Overall, the hotel was nice but located quite far from the main town center. The rooms were spacious, although a bit outdated, and the restaurants and spa were good. I have traveled to numerous countries and stayed in many hotels, but I have never experienced anything like this before.
