Dear Expedia Customer Service,
I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the service we received at Hotel Global Grupos do Brasil in São Paulo, which we booked through your platform.
Upon arrival, we were assigned the wrong room. After bringing this to the hotel’s attention, they assured us that the issue would be resolved the next morning. Based on this promise, I booked an additional room at the same hotel using my Expedia rewards.
However, after the first night, we followed up again, and the staff began giving us different excuses, while still promising to resolve the issue by evening. When we returned later that day, they informed us the hotel was fully booked, and we remained in the same small, uncomfortable room.
This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Frankly, we can’t help but feel we may have been treated unfairly, possibly due to being American tourists.
Before leaving a negative public review, I wanted to give you the opportunity to review this situation and hopefully take appropriate action. I trust that Expedia values its customers and will help resolve this matter.
