I would say letting us know at 4pm on check-in day that the room was not cleaned nor would it be cleaned. We proceeded with back and forth. We were put in a room for the 1st night. We asked if we could just stay there. We could but it was bot the king bed that we paid for. We had bought food and drinks. It was confirmed we would move everything to the room that was to be available at check in. We had to leave early that morning. Stuff was moved over. We arrived back to the room for the night. All the food and drinks are gone. It is not a king bed and the A/C is not working. We messaged the host who responded in a timely matter. There was some more back and forth conversation. They moved us forward to a king room. That is where we should have been from the start. There is no one at the house but this is not an actual house. There should be on duty staff at check in and to oversee all the housekeeping. I feel the host had no idea what rooms are king beds or queen beds. The place was not full. On Monday night, room 4 was open all night. A bath towel in our room was stained and had holes in it. Thankfully everything worked out after 36 hours and we were refunded for the food/drinks that were taken. I would not stay here again.
