3 Bedrooms in the heart of Seaside. One if the best locations available with 4 bikes.

Don't be fooled by other properties saying they are near or a short distance to Seaside. This perfect 3 bedroom home sits in the heart of Seaside on East Ruskin Avenue and is located less than 5 houses from the beach. Walk out of the back of the house and you are in downtown Seaside literally 25 yards from everything. The location is fantastic for you to enjoy all the benefits of Seaside. Our calendar is always up to date.

Enjoy the best views in Seaside from the top deck of this metropolitan home featured in Spanish and German Architectural Magazine. The home includes 3 comfortable bedrooms. Two bedrooms have queen beds and one has a set of twin beds. We just added new furniture Feb 2021.

The Master is on the third floor with great views of Seaside and the Gulf. The two twins are on the first floor and the other queen bedroom is located on the second floor. The house prides intself with decks galore and a spacious sitting areas for family and friends on both the second and third floor. Each bedroom has its own designated bathroom. Walk from the 2nd floor straight into the shutter room to enjoy those lazy summer afternoon on the deck in the shade.

Wireless Internet is provided. Roger's lighthouse also provides (4) bikes for your use so no expensive renting of bikes are needed. This will save you over $500 for a weeks stay. Pool passes, beach chairs, gym and tennis use can all be purchased by our guests from the private company that owns these amenities. We removed this from our pricing to lower the price and give you choices on what you want. No owner in Seaside gets pool access. They are each buying it so the renter pays for it.

*During our summer season we book Saturday to Saturday only. Summer season starts in June and ends the 1st week of August. Sorry no exceptions.

Normal check in time is 4pm CST and check out time is 10am CST. We do try our best to accommodate any requests.

We have traveled to Seaside 1-2 times per year for the last 13 years and this property has been our favorite place so far! The architecture is super interesting and the location to the heart of Seaside was perfect. The kitchen was well-stocked and we appreciated access to bikes. The 2 queen mattresses weren't our favorite, but I still give the property 5 stars for all the wonderful features. We'll be back!

All things Seaside are walkable from this location. Beautiful, quiet street and neighborhood. Plenty of room inside and out. Loved the vibrant colors, beachy art and architecture! Thanks for the great memories made!

The house was just awesome! The Interior was Warm and Beachy Colorful. The Shutter Room was so Comfortable and roomy for us all! It was a great vacation for us! It's been about 15 years since we have been able to Vacation as a Family with both our Son and Daughter and their Spouses! We really appreciated house clean this house was.

Charming property in a great location! Even my 77-year-old mom could walk to the beach. Our only mistake was renting chairs and umbrellas in advance when the seaweed and heat made the pool more lounge-worthy than the beach. I’m in love with the architecture of this house and the front porch!

Quintessential Seaside Experience!

This was the fourth time that my family has stayed at Roger’s Lighthouse, we have always loved it here for the comfort, location, and the house beautifully fashioned in the true Seaside spirit. Being in the perfect location to the town center and beach made everything so easy! The beds were comfortable as ever and upgrades were apparent . Every consideration was thought of and appreciated! One of our favorite traditions is to have smoothies on the roof at sunset and take in the 360 surrounding of Seaside. We can’t wait to return!

Another great stay at this East Ruskin gem

We just wrapped up a wonderful week in Seaside, and our second stay at Roger’s Lighthouse - just as special as the first! This Seaside classic boasts unique architecture and character and is a such a gem on East Ruskin. There were 6 of us - 4 adults and 2 kids. We all loved the spacious front porch and the rooftop deck overlooking the neighborhood with views of the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed from pots and pans to dishes, utensils, and spices!The beach extras made a big difference, too: a wagon, floats, chairs, and boogie boards. And the location truly can’t be beat. Just a few houses from the beach and steps to Seaside’s town center. The owner is quick to respond to questions which we appreciated. Book it and enjoy this quintessential Seaside home on one of the most charming streets!

Best Cottage!!

We could not say enough good things about Rogers Lighthouse! My wife and I come down once a year for a week in the spring and were joined by our adult daughter as a last minute addition. This home was AMAZING. We were all able to spread out through the specious levels and and decks. The shutter room and look out point on the top were our favorites at night and in the morning. The property was clean, well stocked and just generally incerdibly pleasant. We will be back!

Loved the treehouse

The architecture is amazing and decor of the property is very nice; very comfortable. It was perfect for 3 adults as we each had our own floor, bed and bath!Two major complaints:1) The place is not clean. It needs a thorough deep cleaning, throughout. There was crud in every corner and surfaces were sketchy. Cleaning crew is not doing an adequate job. 2) Mattresses were beyond horrible. Please consider that I would, and many others, choose a more expensive location over another if the mattresses were listed as new, less than 5 years old. This is really a problem.

This house is a great launching point to beautiful Seaside Beach, Downtown, and walkable neighborhood! While dated, this architecturally significant home has lot's of character and interesting features. We particularly enjoyed the roof top deck and it's great views.

Great place in a great location

Always good to be so close to the beach, house is great for a family of adults - everyone had their own space, and the architecture is very interesting. Host was helpful as we navigated what to do with Helene coming in.Hope to be back sometime.

Seaside Fall Break

The house was perfect for our first trip to seaside. Location is central to everything. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, perfect for our family of 5. The property manager was very communicative and informative. We really enjoyed our trip and would love to stay again!

Close to everything!!!

It’s our third time to stay at Roger’s Lighthouse. The location is wonderful.it is very close to the beach and backs up to Black Bear Bread Co. We liked the addition of the new LED lighted mirror’s in the bathroom and closet. The house has a unique floor plan. You can go up to the sunning deck for sunrises and sunsets with a water view.

Close to beach

Great property. So close to the beach and the walkover that you’re better off bringing your own umbrellas and chairs. Roger left his chairs (four) of them which worked great. Couldn’t have been more pleased with the location and how unique the property was. Classic Seaside house with everything you need to have a great time.
