"The hotel is very clean and in a good location. No frills, which is expected for the price I paid. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, there are restaurants and coffee shops directly outside for convenience. It is very walkable to the major sites of Bilbao. Would stay again, if I were to return to the city."

"When booking room was told that the room would have a balcony and fridge plus 2 beds. Didn’t get any of this just a plain room on ground floor. When asked the receptionist they said no rooms have balcony at the hotel?"

"Reasonable price and convenient to the airport. Check in was a bit awkward being fully automated and I couldn't get the machine to speak anything other than Spanish eventhough other languages were possible. There were others who struggled with it as well. I also didn't get the info for how to do it beforehand. Luckily someone was available to call and assist."

"So disappointed with our very expensive room with terrace. Bilbao is wonderful and the view from the room was spectacular but there were lots of little details that let the experience down; there was a cigarette burn on a cushion on the terrace chair, another large burn mark on the bathroom sink surround (hot hair tongs?), the planting on the terrace was looking very sad and eaten by bugs, a raucous party on first night in the room next door, scraping sounds of furniture from 6am which were from the breakfast terrace directly above. It’s not what we expected from a 5 star hotel and certainly not for the price. "

"This is an ok hotel. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but not all. The room was clean and comfortable, but the air-conditioning didn’t seem to work and when you opened the window the road noise was loud. It’s a convenient stop near the motorway and there are lots of places to eat and drink at the nearby shopping centres. You can catch buses into the centre of Bilbao just a short walk away."

"Room was very small with no way to open suitcases except on bed. There was seldom if ever anyone on the reception desk. No one in the restaurant could speak English, but they were very helpful with what we could communicate. Food in the restaurant was only take out (serve yourself). But everything was very tasty. For the price, the room wasn't worth the price, but we still enjoyed ourselves in the locale."

"Disappointing- we arrived after the common check-in time and the room wasn’t available. No offer to leave our luggage so we would be able to explore the city. The far in advance provided request of a second duvet, hasn’t been processed and required a reminder. The TV had his on mind and turned on every few minutes also through the night. Informing the staff didn’t change the situation- so we disconnected the television from the plug ourselves. Opening hours of the sauna is too short - only till 20:00. unfortunately not the quality and service i would expected from a five star hotel"
