"We arrived late and Night Porter was very accommodating Food was first class Rooms were spacious- a couple of niggles with the water temperature and the rooms weren’t soundproofed so we could hear people walking up and down in the corridor Apart from that - I’d recommend and would stay again"

"Lovely hotel and staff were so friendly and polite. Very dog friendly with a large bit of grass directly outside the hotel to walk your dog. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was simple but delicious "

"Traveling from the USA spending a week in and around Scotland, this restored Mill hotel was really something! A beautiful building, the hotel is high end and hits the mark . Its price matches its upstated elegance but was well worth the price for us . The restaurant was similarly stylish but comfortable with a good menu at appropriate price points .Well worth staying to get a total New Lanark experience "

"Lovely place and staff however Room 7 faces the extractor fan outlet for the Kitchen which kicks in at 5:30 am I thought there was a plane taking off! "

"Visiting southern Scotland , this hotel met our expectations. An older hotel , its remodeling was quite stunning . The rooms / restaurant/ bar were all very inviting. I felt its price was appropriate and I give it a 3.5 star rating personally. It’s a bit off the beaten path but I’d recommend highly if your trip planning takes you in that direction."

"I stayed for one night before a wedding nearby. I had a warm welcome and the room was lovely! Spotless and modern with a view over the street. Secondary glazing meant I heard nothing and slept for 9 hours! The bathroom was brand new by the looks of things too. The Eggs Benedict was lovely too. I’d definitely stay again when I’m back down this way. "
