"I stay in Port Macquarie… a lot! I travel there for work on average every 4 weeks or so, but I haven’t stayed here for over a decade. I was so pleasantly surprised. The rooms are refreshed great internet and comfy beds But the thing I liked the most - the rooftop pool! Most hotels the pool is on the ground floor and everyone can see you - but the rooftop pool where it’s like a private oasis will get me to stay here next time!"

"The staff!!! Absolutely amazing. I had booked the wrong night on a non-refundable price, I called them, there was no problem switching it but they would have a higher room charge (consistent with best prices online). We arrived and they said they wouldn't charge the extra as they dropped the price for the night. They did not have to do that so you know they are genuine good guys. A gentleman who was working there (maybe the guy who co-owns it?) also offered to help me with our luggage back out...
