The accommodations were not only exactly as listed, but probably better. The place was gorgeous, very well kept and we enjoyed every minute of our time. We visited several wineries and restaurants nearby and they were all amazing. The accommodation itself was quiet and gorgeous! The only thing we had a small issue with was the very narrow road that led to the house. As Americans, it was a tad harrowing but with practice we became more comfortable . The hosts were kind & readily available. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

We had a wonder few days staying at this devine property nestled in the hills of Tuscany.Our host Antonella was very welcoming and made our stay so easy.The villa was beautiful and catered to all our needs and the swimming pool was perfect for relaxing around in the afternoon sun.Situated in an idyllic country setting close to Florence & Pisa plus smaller Tuscan villages it is the perfect place to stay while in this region.I would highly recommend staying here and if we return to Tuscany we will be enjoying Antonellas hospitality again

The residence is a sparkling jewel in the tranquil hills of Tuscany! Each window frames breathtaking views of the lush olive groves, inspiring admiration for the beauty surrounding us. Très antique, mais d'une propreté irréprochable!La cuisine était bien équipée. Les lits étaient très confortables. La pression dans la douche parfaite. Le seul bémol était le manque de confort au salon. L'accès à la maison n'était pas simple, vous devez emprunter une route très étroite, très en pente et non asphaltée. La piscine était accessible, mais la température n'a pas permis de l'utiliser, dommage pcq l'environnement de la cours est sublime!

Location, accommodation, and host were 5 star. When we arrived, Antonella had pasta, sauce and fresh homebaked bread for us. The view from the property was amazing, the beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was very clean. One thing that is probably a "lost in translation" is a reference to a hot tub/jacuzzi. We did not see one, but it did have a tub in one of the bathrooms (which we used). Overall, a dream escape in Tuscany!

Had the best time staying at Antonella’s farmhouse for 5 nights. It is even better than the already great description and photos. The property is in a beautiful location, quiet and so satisfying. Antonella is so kind and caring. We will be back.

We had four nights here in the green apartment. It was too cold to swim but we still enjoyed the view of the hills. We were surrounded by olive orchards. It was so quiet. The apartment was just as described. Both bedrooms were upstairs. The bathroom with the shower was downstairs. We used a private chef that was recommended by the host and he was awesome. We highly recommend using him one night.

This is a beautiful location with nice accommodations and spectacular 360 degree views of the Tuscan countryside. Our family of four loved our stay in this charmingly decorated, fully equipped property and we would definitely stay here again. The host was kind and communication was easy. We only wish the weather had cooperated so we could have also enjoyed the pool.

Es war der absolute Traumurlaub. Es wurde mit so viel Liebe zum Detail dieses Traumferienhaus erschaffen. Die Klimaanlagen sind im ganzen Haus verteilt und schaffen Abkühlung. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Vermieter wohnen auf dem Grundstück was man überhaupt nicht merkt. Der Pool ist das Highlight! So durchdacht und liebevoll angelegt, wir waren sprachlos. Von hier aus haben wir mit kurzen Entfernungen Florenz, Volterra, Siena und Greve besucht. Jeden Tag nach den Ausflügen haben wir die Ruhe und das Panorama genossen. Das Wlan war spitze. Auf Nachfrage hat Guesseppe uns das Fiorentina Steak zusammen mit der Salsiccia und 2 Flaschen Wein verköstigt. Am Sonntag gab es frisch gebackenes Brot. Das selbst hergestellte Olivenöl schmeckt uns sehr gut und wir sind froh, dass wir welches gekauft haben. Liebe Antonella, lieber Guesseppe, vielen Dank für diesen Traumurlaub. Wir kommen wieder. Antonella is a fabulous host and the property is ideally located overlooking the olve trees and vineyards. Great base to explore Tuscany, in particular Florence, Siena, San Gimignano. So nice to get back from the crowds to this bucolic retreat. There are plenty of restaurants and wineries nearby. Absolutely worth the effort to get away from it all. We will be back.

The pictures are amazing but don’t capture the full beauty of this place! The views from the pool area are breathtaking. We arrived right before sunset and cooked a meal in our apartment and ate our dinner at the dining table by the pool. The apartment itself was also more beautiful than the pictures are able to capture. The decor is perfect and the beds themselves so comfortable. We are a family of 5 and one kiddo slept on the fold out couch downstairs and was also very comfortable. We want to return and spend an entire week here with friends. A car is a must but so easy to get many beautiful wineries in Tuscany, 30 minutes to Florence and 45 to San Gimignano.

Antonella was the perfect hostess. She offered excellent advice on restaurants and wine tasting, as well as grocery store on our way to her property. The two bedroom apartment we stayed at was exquisitely decorated and clean. Beds were firm and comfortable. Every direction you look outside was picturesque. Based on a previous review I asked Antonella for recommendation for an in home chef. Chef Tommaso cooked for us on our first night there. Excellent food and service and such a treat after long day traveling. Food was soo good we actually had him cook for us another night. We were lucky to have fresh bread during our stay baked by Antonella’s husband. Delicious! One advice for travelers is when exiting gates from property always turn right, road is better than going straight. Don’t worry GPS will recalculate. We feel so blessed to have found this beautiful place to stay. The best compliment from us is that we will definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and family and hope to return someday!

If you want to get away from it all for a bit and experience Tuscany, this is the place for you. The property has amazing views and is a great location to go to all the small towns and have great wine and food. Also being in the middle of the Chianti Classico region you can visit the wineries for their tastings and tours. One a last note, the host is super friendly and accommodating.

The photos of the Farmhouse apartment cannot begin to portray this fabulous property. Every room was unique with decor that complimented each room. The bedrooms were spacious and elegant with comfortable mattresses and linens. Each bathroom was spacious and very well appointed. The kitchen was lovely and very well stocked with foil and plastic wrap, coffee, sugar, salt, tea, olive oil, etc. Our host, Antonella, was lovely and very helpful. Her husband baked bread on Sunday morning. It was delicious. We had perfect weather every day and were even able to swim. Fabulous restaurants and wineries were nearby, and the Coop (grocery store) was about 30 minutes away. The seafood there was fresh with a bountiful assortment of fish, squid, octopus, etc. We made day trips to San Gimignano, Sienna, Pisa and the coast where we had a delicious paella in a restaurant by the Ligurian Sea. The Florence American Cemetary was about 20 minutes away and is well worth visiting. There was intense fighting in this area of Chianti during WWII and 4,300 American soldiers were buried here. We just cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay at Casian in Val de Pesa was. We highly recommend this unique experience and definitely will visit again!

The home was purely enchanting. We stayed at the verde villa. The pictures don’t say enough about the beauty of the home and the surrounding area. Not only is it beautiful, but it is equipped with all the modern amenities you can possibly need. Waking up each morning and stepping out onto the garden to see the view was like living in a movie. Antonina was an amazing host. She and her husband are an absolute delight! One morning we were surprised with delicious homemade bread that he baked. (He’s a genius!) Antonina also connected us with a local chef, Valentina, who welcomed us with an exquisite Tuscan dinner our first evening. We can’t thank them all enough for such a magical stay.

Perfect location to see Tuscany. Our family of 3 stayed here for 5 days, driving into Florence for two, San Gimignano for one and Pisa for one. The other we just rested at the villa (swam, did laundry, etc). Dinners were usually at restaurants in nearby towns - each about a 10 minute drive and all were good. We stayed in the Green apartment and it was immaculate, spacious and beautifully decorated. Literally nothing about the place we would change; it was perfect. Make sure your stay includes a Sunday so you can learn how to bake bread in a wood fired oven. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Our trip to Tuscany was one of the Best vacations Ever! The Villa Vico L’Abate was absolutely lovely. The views around the property were stunning. Antonella was the perfect host and helped us with whatever we needed. The pool was amazing and was a welcome treat after a long day of sightseeing in Florence and the surrounding countryside. This Villa is an total Gem in Tuscany. Location is a short drive from Florence and perfect for exploring the entire Chianti Classico wine region. Our Tuscan adventure is one we will never forget! Of all the hillside rentals in Italy that we’ve done, Antonella’s was the best by far. Beyond a perfect location, a well stocked unit, and a beautiful property, Antonella’s special soul made this the perfect trip. We can’t wait to return for even longer next time. Had a wonderful stay here during a very hot week. The pool is great and the views are beautiful. The house is very well equipped with good air con. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking at the villa. The villa it self is nicely decorated and cosy. Well situated near Florence not to far from Sienna. The hosts were responsive and very kind. Look forward to returning someday. Thank you!

We loved our stay! The views were incredible. The house was clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. The four of us were very comfortable. It’s somewhat remote so very private and quiet. Many options for alfresco dining or sipping wine while enjoying the view. Antonella was very sweet and accommodating. Highly recommended!
