Welcome to Riverside Hacienda! Nestled in the banks of the Arkansas River, this spacious and private riverfront oasis is just what you need for your vacation 'base camp'.
Located in the ♥️ of downtown Salida, you will be just footsteps away from all of the best things this city has to offer.
From river fun, kayaking, rafting, tubing, fishing, hiking, biking, to shopping, galleries, coffee shops, sampling local eats and brews and enjoying live music, to skiing at Monarch (only 25 minutes away), ice skating, snowmobiling, and so much more.
Play hard all day, then come home and relax, sip on your favorite beverage while soaking in the hot tub in the courtyard. Or sit back and enjoy the Arkansas River while listening to sounds of water rushing by.

**** PLEASE NOTE that this such an amazing location and is booked a lot. The owner’s want to enjoy it just as much as you! They have added a locked off studio onsite, but are rarely on the premise. It is a completely separate space. ****

The Riverside Hacienda is part of a duplex. If you have a large group and need more space, we also have the Frontside Hacienda (VRBO # 1128337) located on the front side of the property that may be available for your dates. Please let us know if you might be interested in booking both units together! Each hacienda has it’s own private enclosed courtyard.

Main Level:
-Enjoy the expansive & fully equipped kitchen with a great island dining table.
-The master suite includes a king bed, TV & private bath. Bring your sleeping bag to sleep on the deck or patio & stargaze as the sounds of the river lull you to sleep!
-The deck off of the kitchen overlooking the river has a gas grill for the nights you want to stay in and BBQ.
-The hot tub seats 4-6 people in the private courtyard with an outdoor dining area & indoor/outdoor bar window off of the kitchen.
-There are 2 cruiser bikes provided for guest use.
-The Riverside Hacienda does not have A/C.

Lower Level:
-First bedroom in the lower level has a TV, 2 queen beds & 2 twin beds.
-Second bedroom in the lower level has 2 double beds.
-Full bath.

Separate Suite (Main Level):
-Accessed from the courtyard, the suite has one bedroom with a king bed and another captive room with 2 twin beds and, & full bath to accommodate 4 guests.
-Laundry closet.


The Riverside Hacienda has a total of 10 beds.

Riverside Hacienda is a dog friendly home! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs with prior approval, pet policy agreement and a nonrefundable fee of $100/stay.

Toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, trash bags, coffee filters as well as face, hand, & bath towels are all provided.
