"I stayed at the Avani Koh Lanta Resort, and unfortunately, I found it very underwhelming. To be honest, I wanted to leave almost as soon as we arrived. The resort itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and the staff were genuinely lovely, friendly, and attentive. I have absolutely no complaints about the service or cleanliness. "Our family of 4 came in May 2026, 2 girls age 6 and 9. The hotel was nice and the pool and excellent proximity to the beach was great! Our girls enjoyed the balcony pool. Nice restaurant (we only really ate one restaurant few minutes from the hotel on the beach called somewhere else was yummy, very affordable and also great view of the beach). We’d definitely stay at Lanta Sand again. "

"Detta hotellet var verkligen bara helt okej enligt oss. Inget fel på personalen eller renligheten i rummen, men det kändes ganska slitet, dåligt underhållet, extremt dött och tråkig frukost om vi jämför med andra hotell vi varit på under vår resa i Thailand. Poolen var också ganska tråkig med mycket skräp som flyter runt på vissa ställen. De hade behövt rusta upp detta stället rejält. En annan heads up som kanske inte har så mycket med hotellet i sig att göra, men det fanns inte mycket att göra...

"Everything was great, food, drinks, staff, rooms. If I have to find anything not great it has to be the pillows, hard and a bit uncomfortable, a fan out on the terrace would have been amazing."
