It’s an excellent hotel just minutes walk from Omiya station. The building is clean and has a restaurant and very affordable breakfast buffet. The staff are all very well-trained and polite. They were happy to help me extend my stay on last minute notice and remain in the same room. (Twice). I recommend Marroad Inn. They always brought fresh towels

Overall, it was very good. I liked the breakfast buffet and that helped me save money during my trip. There was one thing though that could have been better - it was not possible to switch my hotel room tv over to a different HDMI source. Because of that, it was not possible to connect my firestick to it. I think that's something for them to address for future travelers that might want to hook up a firestick, switch, or steam deck. But if you're looking for a relatively inexpensive place to stay, this is a pretty good choice.

大宮駅からのアクセスは良好で、客室や設備も料金を考えれば満足です。 部屋は狭く、スーツケースを広げるスペースが無いのは不便です。

大宮駅から徒歩5分ほど。駅近とは思えないような茶色いひっそりした佇まいで、一瞬（ラブホテル？）と身構えてしまう地味な外見。併設しているレストランが読めない中国語テイストの名前なのも怪しさを増している。しかし部屋は狭いながらも明るく機能的。部屋と廊下の改装はしたんだな〜と安心。 嫌だったのは、部屋のドアノブがベタベタだったこと。お菓子だかジュースだかがついた手で握ったのだと思う。あとあちこちから短い髪の毛が出てくる、いくらでも出てくる。私の前に短髪のおじさんが泊まっていたんだろうな〜と思わせられた。とにかく掃除が甘すぎる！ 泊まったのは、冬なのに夏日という日だったのだが、冷暖房はコントロールできない。暖房しかないという。暑いなら窓を開けてくださいと言われた。窓はフルに全開か開けないかの2択。こわすぎる。 部屋は狭いけど、不相応に大きいベッドが入っていて、清潔だと思えたならきっと快適だったと思う。 畳一畳分くらいの小さすぎる喫煙所が地下の駐車場の一角にある。薄暗い中で譲り合いながらタバコを吸っているビジネスマンたちを見て、こんなに端っこに追いやらなくてもいいのでは？と思った。
