"Beautiful hotel right in the middle of town. The lady on reception was warm and welcoming. Only downside is a lot of places (bars etc) closed at 8pm."

"Gîte calme et agréable, avec de grands espaces, bien équipé, bonne literie, mais un petit bémol, car le logement n'est pas très fonctionnel, ce qui n'est pas spécifié dans l'annonce (la salle de bain et les toilettes de la chambre du 2ème étage et du dortoir se trouvent au sous-sol avec des escaliers raides et sans rampe...)"

"Appartement bien équipé, très fonctionnel et vraiment calme. On peut profiter d'un extérieur très agréable au bord de la Clarée avec vue sur les montagnes. Géographiquement très bien placé pour toutes les activités dans la vallée, sur Briançon, Montgenèvre ou l'Italie. Propriétaire à l'écoute et disponible, tout en confiance. Top !"

"In the perfect location, clean, well maintained, and with very helpful staff. Breakfast is pretty good too, with slightly more options than are normally the case in Italy, for example bacon and eggs."

"Appartement en maison typique du Queyras, dans un hameau charmant et paisible. L'appartement est bien rénové, dans un style chalet bois très chaleureux, avec tout le confort moderne. Confortable et proche de Saint Véran, communication facile et efficace avec le propriétaire/gérant. Beaucoup de départ de randonnées à proximité.Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Merci."

"Because the hotel is located inside the old city walls and in the old town with very narrow streets, access to it is challenging with a car. However, because I had reserved a (paid) garage parking (15 euro and well worth it for us), I could come inside the walls to drop luggage and then proceed to the garage. The very nice young woman who was in charge came (on foot) to our location outside the walls to show us how to come to the hotel and to get inside the barrier. She then went with me to the garage to park for the night. If you have little or no luggage, parking in the parking outside the walls would be fine. It’s not a bad walk from there to the hotel, but if you have concerns about luggage left in the car, definitely the garage is better and very secure. Otherwise we loved the hotel and the room was very pretty and typical. We had dinner at the VERY nearby le Gavroche where we had the extremely good and local “raclette”—melted cheese with potatoes, salad, bread and cured meats. Plus the ice cream dessert that was as good as any I’ve ever had, and I’m an ice cream lover (although the pistacchio was not wonderful). Great stay, great price, wonderful location and experience. We didn’t have breakfast."

"Alain the owner is what turned the whole experience into a gem. He made an incredible gratin à la dauphinoise and entertained us and took care of me and his other guests whom I befriended because of him. So loving and lovely. "
