Great hotel in a quaint, rural village in the mountains. Fantastic restaurant that obviously has a chef that knows what he is doing! The views from our room were amazing, and the heavens gave us a spectacular lightshow - brilliant stars early, and then a fast-moving thunderstorm later. Great morning hike before a wonderful breakfast. Sorry that we had to leave such a peaceful place so soon.

Beautiful alpine setting with amazing views and lots of good walking trails in the area. The room was comfortable but there was no tea or coffee making facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant serves traditional regional food which is nice but limited options especially for children.

We were crewing for the Tod des Geants and arrived at 12:30 a.m. and left at 7 a.m. The Manager was extremely accommodating in allowing a super late check-in and early departure.

The staff was friendly. Room very old with heating system not working well. It was really cold at night. Old blankets and sheets.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel des Alpes. The owner is so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner which he hosted and he had us laughing every time he came to check on us. The dinner was amazing, as was the local wine. Breakfast was also perfect. A lovely buffet with just enough to choose from, and everything was top notch. We came back a few days later on our way back and the owner was thrilled to see us. When he realized he had us staying in the same room as a few days earlier, he immediately switched us to a suite just because he could. Such a lovely little spot just over the border from Switzerland, and such a great hotel to stay at, especially with the attentive staff. 10/10.

We stayed for 1 night with with 2 children. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have a double bed, 1 twin and a pullout couch in the room. It was perfect. The views are amazing, despite the weather being rainy and cloudy when we got there, we were pleased to wake up to sunshine and seeing the mountains around. There are a few hiking trails around. Breakfast was great with a variety of breads and meats and yogurt. There really isnt anythinf bad to say about this place. Had its own rustic charm.

Kan absolut anbefales

Virkelig hyggeligt alpehotel 1640 m oppe med fremragende udsigt. Gode parkeringspladser. Personalet var meget venligt og imødekommende. Vi fik en god middag med dejlig lokal vin til. Morgenmad også fin nok. Vi kommer gerne igen. Minusser: brusenichen var meget lille. Der var TV, men ingen fjernbetjening

Handig (overnachtings)hotelletje in een prachtige omgeving aan de voet van de st Bernhardspas. Authentiek hotel met veel Italiaanse snuisterijen. Prima bedden, prima douche maar wel heel klein. Het diner vonden wij niet lekker, dat zou ik hier niet gebruiken. Ook het ontbijt viel tegen.

Min bedste hoteloplevelse

Dette lille hotel nær Sankt Bernhard-passet er en unik perle. Hjælpsomhed, hygge og en hjemlig forkælelse er måske nogle af de ord, der bedst fanger den særlige stemning, som stedet tilbyder. Vi valgte at forlænge vores ophold, hvor vi boede fire personer i suiten Serena med en smuk udsigt over Aosta-dalen. Stedet har en meget imødekommende og venlig ejer i Leonardo, som man nemt kommer til at holde af. Køkkenet er i orden og aftensmaden bestående af fine lokale og solide retter, bliver hurtigt serveret. Morgenmaden er lækker. Fra hotellet kan man nemt komme videre til diverse vandreområder (eller ski om vinteren vil jeg tro). Billedet viser udsigten til de smukke bjerge og de smukke tage på nabobygningen.
