"I recently stayed at ibis budget Barcelona Sant Andreu de la Barca from April 9–15 with my wife, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience especially for our first visit to Spain. The biggest issue was the temperature in the room. It was extremely hot throughout our entire stay, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The air conditioning was either not working properly or blowing what felt like warm air. By the third night, it stopped working entirely. We repeatedly asked the front desk for a fan, as we were both sweating every night and couldn’t rest. We were initially told the hotel didn’t have any fans, and when they finally found one on the fourth night, it didn’t even work. We were also told that the hotel controls room temperatures centrally for cost-saving purposes, which explains why the AC never actually cooled the room even when it was supposedly “working.” The air in the room felt stale, and overall comfort was extremely poor. Another frustrating moment was when I asked for a box of tissues. Instead of providing one, staff opened a box and handed me only 4–5 sheets, saying they weren’t allowed to give out a full box. That level of restriction was honestly shocking. To be fair, the front desk staff were polite and tried to help, but they ultimately had no real solutions to offer. This stay genuinely affected our trip and left a bad impression. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Everything was very clean. The breakfast was great and on time. They had signs up for changes that might have been unexpected for travelers. Their late night food service was quick and great."

"This place exceeded expectations in every way. The home is absolutely beautiful, spacious, clean, and designed with a warm, modern feel. The wood beam ceilings and open layout give it a really unique character, and everything was well kept and comfortable for our entire stay.The highlight was definitely the view. Waking up and stepping out onto the balcony overlooking the mountains was unreal. The outdoor space and pool area made it feel like a private getaway, not just a place to stay.Location was great as well close enough to get into Barcelona easily, but far enough out to enjoy peace, quiet, and privacy.The host was phenomenal and made everything smooth. No issues at all.Overall, this was an amazing experience and easily one of the best stays we’ve had. If you’re thinking about booking, do it. You won’t regret it."
