We really recommend this cottage, the property was very well kept and clean. The dvd selection is absolutely fantastic, and the hosts are on top of everything, with great communication throughout. We had a great family getaway. There are boardgames and cards to spend a fabulous winter weekend.
The cottage is cute and cozy. Lots of natural light, quaint kitchen and spaces. Tons of movies to watch and a trampoline out back if you have kids. The barbeque worked great, and we cooked outside quite a bit. Just over 3 kms from a great public beach at Meindl Park with beautiful sand, washrooms and garbage cans. This was a great find for us. Close enough to the Petro Canada to go run and get snacks or ice cream.
Our family stay in the cottage by the lake was simply delightful!
The cottage turned out to be a cozy nest where we could completely relax and enjoy nature.
The beautiful view of the lake from the window created an incredible sense of peace and harmony.
The house had everything necessary for a comfortable stay – comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a clean, modern bathroom. We enjoyed cooking outdoors and spent our evenings having family conversations and playing board games. It was the perfect getaway for our entire family, and we would love to return here again.
Thank you, Slava, for the warm welcome and the cozy atmosphere you created in this wonderful place!
We enjoyed our time in St. Laurent. Slava had the cabin ready for us and it was a beautiful, restful time away for my wife and myself. The view from the cabin onto Lake Manitoba is breathtaking. The sunsets were beautiful. Granted, they were at 10:00 at night, but they were still beautiful. The biggest challenge was finding the house. That is because the road the cabin is located on is now called "Chem Venice Road N". For the left turn on
"Chem Venice Road S," there is a smaller sign that says "Twin Lakes Beach Road South.: There is no sign that says "Twin Lakes Beach Road North." Also, there is the house number 29 on a wooden sign with a pelican, there is also a new lot designation of "66" in white letters on a blue background. Once we figured that out, it was all good.
I don't know if we will get back to Manitoba, but if we do, we will definitely look at staying at this cabin again.
The place was so clean and the views were so lovely! Overall we had a great experience. I would recommend the owner provide toilet paper, and paper towels/napkins. When we arrived there was only one and a half rolls of toilet paper which is not enough for 5 people. There was also only one towel and cloth for cleaning in the kitchen, so it was a bit unsanitary having to reuse the same towel and cloth and we also didn’t have anything to wipe our faces or hands with if it got messy during a meal. Additionally. If you are bringing your pet, I would be weary because the upstairs bedrooms have gaps in the floor in which an animal could very easily slip through. There was also no door separating the two out of three sleeping areas upstairs. So if this is something you’re not comfortable with I would keep that in mind!Regardless, my friends and I had a great time, the property is so lovely and clean and the owner was great at responding.:)
The ad was a bit misleading, no pictures of the house iself. The yard was unkept, and a crazy amount of midge flies which is obviously out of the owners control. The dishes were not very clean. Otherwise the stay was pleasant and the owner was friendly. Thank you
