"Excellent traditional french logis hotel & restaurant run by the second & third generation of the family who created it from the family farm and full of old farm tools and implements. Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced. Very good traditional French country restaurant with local specialities and delicious local red wine plus good indoor swimming pool and views of the lovely countryside with sheep in the fields from the window. "Unfortunately the property is a it run down and very remote. The online description and pictures give a false impression, it is very basic and more a farmhouse than chateau. No restaurant on site so the nearest restaurant was over a half hours drive away down very narrow country lanes. The owner was very friendly but we got a shock when he tried to let another couple into our room at 23:30 forgetting that we were already in there and asleep! Overall we would not recommend staying here."
