"The staff is very friendly and helpful! The rooms. Was VERY clean, the cleanest I've seen in quite a while!! Breakfast was good - waffles, cereal, toast, oatmeal, fruit, boiled eggs, yogurt, mini muffins, coffee machine with several choices, orange juice and apple juice. I wish the bed had been more comfortable. They do have a pool but we didn't use it."

"Clean, cozy motel with great, comfy lobby. Comfortable bed and spacious room with a couch. Friendly staff. Close to freeway and several eating establishments. I will stay here again."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Postcard Cabins. The communication was great!! Every question I had was answered promptly. The room and property were very clean and organized. What a great view!! The bed was very comfortable. I loved using the radio to play music as we played games and relaxed. I will definitely be back again soon."

"Comfortable and quiet. Conveniently located. We usually stay in Two Harbors, but decided to keep our drive shorter this time, Nice to have the option to go further north for a day trip, if we wanted to. Just a couple things in need of attention... the microwave hadn't been cleaned after previous uses. And the DVD control didn't have any batteries in it, so we switched the batteries back and forth between that and TV remote to pop in a couple good movies from the broad collection. *Meant to leave a note regarding both of these, but forgot before we checked out! Sorry. Still enjoyed our stay! Thanks! "

"Had a great stay. Outside area was a decent size and where we spent most of our time. House definitely needs a few updates/fixes but it works as a place to sleep. Would of been nice to have a dehumidifier or something because it was very damp smelling. Atv trails were very close so that was nice. "

"The setup worked well for our group. Kitchen was functional for fixing meals together. We brought a deep-dish pie pan, Pyrex cake pans, individual pizza pans, rolling pin, and wooden spoon. (We asked the host about available pans/utensils, so we knew what we needed to bring for our menus. Kitchen tools/utensils are adequate for basics, but not everything we needed.) There were ample coffee cups, wine glasses, large plates, flatware, and basic stove cookware. We didn't use any of the small appliances (toaster, griddle, crock pot). It was unseasonably warm, so it was a challenge cooling off without air conditioning, but we managed. After dusk, the screens didn't keep bugs out, so we didn't play any games. The wind and fire risk didn't allow for having a fire pit outside. We adapted and instead had conversations in the living room with just a few low lights on. The property is clean & comfortable and we liked it. Only drawbacks were the screens not keeping bugs out, no light over the large table, and needing to bring or own pyrex pans for breakfast casseroles/cinnamon rolls. We LOVED the porch with the excellent breezes and views of the lake. The only negative feedback is the need for better screens so the windows can be open at night and broom/dustpan for tidying up. (We like to clean up after ourselves, but did not find adequate cleaning supplies to take care of basics.) The host was very responsive to all our questions. "
