The room was clean and nice and warm. Having access to a kitchen was a big bonus. Outside the back of a hotel was a bit of a mess but everything else was good.

Staff at the reception of Hotel Santa Claus are nice and helpful. The room in Hotel Rudolph is basic but clean and tidy. But the bathroom is really a problem. From the design of the room, it can tell that the room is for people with mobility problem so it is not suprised that the bathroom will be an accessible bathroom. But the curtain is unable to block the water when bathing, as a result, the floor of the bathroom is all wet.

Good stay at the Rudoplh

The Rudolph was comfortable, warm and clean - it worked exactly was we needed it to and compared to the price of other places it was very good value

Beautiful spacious, quiet and warm room. There is even a sauna in the bathroom! Staff at Santa Claus hotel is very friendly. The walk takes about 10mins from Santa Claus hotel where you get the keys to Hotel Rudolf. Room as a perfectly clean water kettle, offers coffee and tea, hairdryer and TV with many Channels. We stayed there twice within 1 week and everything was wonderful. Would come again any time!

Stayed 2 nights. Room was comfortable and it was a very quiet area which we liked. You do have to walk/taxi it to here from the main Santa Claus hotel where you check in. Taxi was easier for us since it was snowing and we had luggages. No complaints. Walking to and from the main shopping area was okay, if you have mobility issues it might not be the best place to stay, but other than that it’s a good place to stay!

10 min walk to the main city area + check in

The room was quite small and the location wasn’t as convenient especially when it’s snowing. It’s like a 10 min walk to the check in hotel. But they do let you store luggage are the check in spot and let me check in early once the room was ready, which was nice!

I’m satisfied with my stay at Sant’s Rudolf hotel. The only thing I wish that the check-in not separate buildings. It’s hard if you have multiple luggages especially when the snow is thick. I’m glad that I read before and even messaged the property. I appreciated my taxi driver for being patient and waited for me to check-in and dropped me off to my actual hotel. Other than that, I slept good. I felt safe. The placed closed to bus station, restaurants and shopping center.

Good option with tighter budget

This is located a bit upper location in main walking street. 1st you have to check in at the other end of street in "main" hotel. There is no breakfast included in price. Building is quite old and rooms have seen better day. Rooms are clean though.

Arrived at Santa’s hotel then have to walk approximately 700 meters up to the hotel. It looks like old office rooms or a hostel that has been converted into a hotel. The room was clean but very small no food or drink available at this hotel apart from a vending machine. I will say though that the room was very clean. Ok for backpackers but unfortunately not for us.

Clean rooms and close to city center

The room was clean, and the bed was good. The hotel is close to a large shopping mall and 5 min. walk to the city center. If you are just looking for a bed and a shower, this is convenient, as there are no services (like a bar and restaurant) at the hotel. Next door, however, there is a Chinese restaurant. You can get breakfast at Santa's Hotels Santa Claus, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. This breakfast is 14 euros. Please be aware that you need to pick up the key at the Santas Hotel, a 10-minute walk away. Upon arrival, this was a little unclear to me. So, go there first, so you don't need to go back and forth. I forgot my gloves at the hotel, and the employees were very helpful in sending them to me. This was great! The hotel was a bit expensive compared to the standard, but Rovaniemi is a costly city overall. Be aware of that also when planning a visit.
