"My first stay at a Voco hotel and I was very impressed. The location was good, as I was attending an event in the city. Parking in the nearby infirmary carpark was convenient. My room was great, and very clean and tidy. The restaurant offered a varied dinner menu and a variety of breakfast options. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, I very much enjoyed my two-night stay."

"Amazing original building with a fascinating history. Most of the rooms are in an annex which are looking a little tired e.g. the bathrooms are dated. Outside parking is easy and lovely grounds. Unfortunately several of the picnic syle tables have seen better days. Overall it's not luxurious, however it's prices reflect this."

"The property is very modern, wellmaintained and the staff are helpful. It is in a convenient location close to the train station and a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre. There is also a bus service from the train station. The area is quiet. There is a good buffet breakfast."
