Had a wonderful stay in March for 5 nights. Great communication with the property manager from booking all the way until he met us at property for check in. Recommendations were given for food, sites, grocery, anything we needed. The Property has everything you need for daily comforts (by my basic American standards) especially having BOTH a washer and dryer with our two teenagers along for 5 nights. We went to Carrefour grocery and stocked up kitchen right away including paper towels, snacks, drinks and that made it more comfortable, saved money on outings daily with kids who are randomly starving at all hours of the day. Having 3 bedrooms meant privacy for all. Remember the power grid in Rome is not America- be mindful you can only run one appliance at a time or YES you’ll blow a fuse and have to reset it, but it’s very simple to do (we made that mistake once by running cooktop range and dryer at the same time.) You just flip the switch in the hallway and it’s reset instantly. Also, water heater is a bit small so we learned to space out our shower timing to avoid animosity over cold showers, haha. And the location alone makes this a 5 star property… it is CHEFS KISS. It is perfect. Safe, charming, yes a bit loud, but that’s part of the vibe. Walkable to every single site we saw in Rome, literally. Never used public transportation, except taxi from the airport and to train station. The restaurant downstairs was cute, good food, the owner was lovely. Grazie Mille!
