The room was compact, but I was aware of that beforehand. It was also spotless, and the air conditioning was a blessing during the ongoing heat wave. I chose this hotel for its prime location, just a short distance from the Colosseum, Roman Forums, and other historic Roman sites. It's merely a few blocks away from the Colosseum and directly across from the Forums. Additionally, the hotel is nestled among charming sidewalk cafes and bars. The staff was exceptional as well, always helpful and accommodating

The Hotel Romano is a charming boutique hotel right in the middle of all you would love to see in Rome. The staff was excellent. I was afraid not knowing Italian but they spoke English very well and their smiles and warmth are a universal language. If you are physically challenged request a first floor room. I would definitely stay again!!

My husband and I took a 15-day trip to Italy, and spent our first night and our last night at Hotel Romano. We absolutely loved it! Our hosts Mariella and Santo made us feel like they were welcoming us into their home. They were so kind, accommodating, and helpful. Our room during both stays was spacious, clean and comfortable. And the location was simply perfect for easy access to amazing historical sites. The Colosseum is basically right next door, and we also easily walked from Hotel Romano to the Pantheon, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, the Forum of Caesar, and more. Furthermore, a huge number of restaurants and shops are just outside the hotel. We felt safe and relaxed here. It was perfect for our needs and we would highly recommend it!

Although rooms are a little small you Cannot beat the Roman charm of this adorable true Roma experience. The owners and family were not to be believed and very helpful for places to go and places to eat. Don’t forget to check out Tavern Moderna which is within walking distance for a dining experience you will NOT FORGET!!!

Hotel Romano was a pleasant surprise, in the heart of Rome. Walking distance to everything. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was small but well appointed. Bed was comfy, water pressure was excellent and the welcome bottle of prosecco was a nice touch. The caffe next door became my main coffee/ spritz watering hole and the folks there were fantastic. I'd definitely stay at Hotel Romano if I found myself in Rome again.

Loved this property! The staff was very nice and super helpful. This boutique hotel was perfect for a quick stay. They decorated our room for my partner and I’s anniversary. Perfect touches and if I’m ever in Rome again, I would stay here!
