It was excellent hotel 30 years ago. Maximum 3 star. TV did not work at all even maintenance man tried to fix it. In the morning was much friendlier receptions desk.

I picked the Hotel Rex because the map showed that is close to the Termini Station, and, reviewers said that the rooms were big for the standards. I'm glad I stayed in this hotel, all the staff is knowledgeable and caring (thank you), and every place is easy to visit from there. The fact that it's on a side street was a plus...quite nights. The location is very convenient, lots of good restaurants, shops and caffes close by, as well as walking distance to bus stops, or train, or metro, or taxis, and meeting point for the tour trolleys. I would definently stay there again

Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Den Schlüssel musste man beim Verlassen des Hotels abgeben und wenn man ins Hotel zurückkehrte, bekam man diesen wieder. Leider hat das Hotel nicht so ausgeschaut wie beschrieben, bzw. nicht so wie es auf den Fotos zu sehen war. Das Badezimmer, war dreckig, das WC, Dusche und Badewanne auch. Die Aussicht vom Fenster war ins Nichts - nur Wände in den kleinen Innenhof. TV Gerät funktionierte zwar, jedoch nur im Radio Betrieb. Die Lichter funktionierten nur teilweise - es gab eine kleine Tischlampe und eine Stehlampe. Das Zimmer war dadurch relativ dunkel. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend, zufriedenstellend.

Great customer service and very efficient to correct a couple of minor issues with the room. The complementary smart phone to use was a pleasant surprise. The one downside was how hot the cleaners kept turning the temperature up to each day.
