The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located right across the street to the Vatican. Walking distance to the metro. Lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel was clean, quiet and safe. Very good breakfast.

Hotel Museum provided a fantastic stay in an unbeatable location right next to the Vatican Museums entrance, just a short walk from St. Peter’s Basilica, the Ottaviano Metro station, great dining options, and a convenient local drinking fountain. The staff was incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and very thorough during check-in, with a 24-hour reception and secure luggage storage making everything seamless. The charming vintage decor truly lives up to the hotel's name, complemented by clean facilities and a handy drinks vending machine. Our room with two double beds was clean, spacious enough to unpack comfortably, and equipped with cozy linens and working air conditioning that provided much-needed relief from the heat. The bathroom was equally clean, featuring excellent water pressure and fresh towels replaced daily. Just remember to have cash ready for the local property tax upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again!

It was unique in the way that there was an over powering smell, in the hotel and worse in the room There was no cold drink supplied on arrival in 40 degree heat The floor was filthy The hotel needs to be urgently updated When walking out into the streets they also smelled and rubbish everywhere What a great opportunity for the owner to have a hotel in such a great location and to offer a more cleaner and better environment

We loved staying at the Hotel Museum. It was a short block from the entrance to the Vatican Museum entrance was a short block away. Staff were extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast on the covered rooftop terrace, was excellent. Delicious espressos and coffees, eggs, bacon (the best), meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruits, nuts, pastries- a feast. We enjoyed wine and a grocery store dinner on that terrace one night. It was a trip highlight. The room had all that we needed - high ceiling, fresh air. The elevator came in handy, as we stayed on the 3rd floor. We loved Rome and the Hotel Museum.
