"Desk staff were very nice and pleasant during our stay. However, our room was not cleaned on Saturday or Sunday. On Saturday morning I spoke with the housekeeper and asked her to leave two plastic cups and fresh towels in the room. When I returned to the room on Saturday evening I discovered that the housekeeper had not been in the room. I had to go down to the lobby for fresh towels and to the coffee counter to get 2 paper cups. Thankfully, I bought Hefty trash bag from home so I was able to empty the two small trash cans in the room. Sunday I was out of the room all day. When I returned Sunday night I found the room exactly as I left it. The trash bag was still there with trash in it, no nee plastic cups, and no fresh towels."

"The room was quite big, but noticed that the sinks were awfully low. It is an older building and some of the grout was missing in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and would definitely stay there again."

"I was very pleased with my room. Very comfortable bed. Nice space with good bathroom space. It was a great location on the NC border. Nice amenities (pool and gym was very nice). But most importantly, I was very very pleased with Andrea at the front desk. She was very accommodating and helped me with checking in a little early after I had a long drive getting there. She was very friendly, respectful, and empathetic. I have nothing but high praise for her and everything she helped with. Thank you Andrea!"

"We really appreciated the setup of the room and the quiet evening. Also enjoyed being able to just walk over and get a burger from Barley Burger for supper. Breakfast was just ok. We left on a Sunday morning and serving breakfast started late which put us on the road later than we wanted."

"I would say the kitchen was not fully equipped (especially for 4 or more adults)-you need to have at least one hot pad or hot mitt. -a strainer would be an essential-more dishes for 4-6 people to eat from-extra dish towels and a clean sponge for handwashingwe were able to enjoy a couple of meals at the house but did go out for two meals as well. "
